First of all, we have to remember that Repsol is one of the biggest fuel company in Spain, and it has a lot of influence around the world. For example, it is the main sponsor of the  Honda MotoGP team. So, does this project help to boost the economy and sustainability of Spain? Repsol will invest 200 million euros in the Cartagena (Murcia) industrial complex, which will have the capacity to produce 250,000 tons per year of advanced biofuels such as biodiesel, biojet, bionaphtha and biopropane, which can be used in planes, ships, trucks or cars, and that will reduce 900,000 tons of CO2 per year.
